Putting the Pieces Together Train the Trainer

A 1 day course for those trainied in Putting the Pieces Together who wish to become a Putting the Pieces Together Trainer in their region/area.
Applicants  must have a training role within their current positon and have faciliation skills/training. 

Course Duration: 5 hours

Who Should Attend?
This course is specifically for those who want to trainer others to delivery the Putting the Pieces Together programme. Following training they will be able to offer the 2 Day (or 4 online session) Putting the Pieces Together Course to youth workers and others working with young people and in the community in out-of-school setting. Applicants much completed the 2 day training course (or online equilivant) and have experience of delivering the programme to groups. Interested parities will be required to complete a Train the Trainer application which is available from training@wrdatf.ie and will be sent to all to complete the booking form (see below).

Course Description:

-Practical Counsiderations for deliver of training -Key points of inclusion for PTPT training
-Key areas of knowledge required for delivery
-Troubleshooting potential issues that may arise during training
-Guidelines for delivery of PTPT and use of manual
-How to accesses PTPT manuals...

Learning Outcomes:
A clear understanding of the delivery of PTPT training both informational and practical

Trainer Profile:
This course will be delivered by Gillian Conway and Neil Wilson Drug Education Workers with the Western Region Drug & Alcohol Task Force. Gillian and Neil have been delivering Putting the PIeces Together training since is launch and oversaw the developement of the new edition of Putting the Pieces Together.
