Family Support Strategy 2017-2020

The Western Region Drug and Alcohol Task Force (WRDATF) is a co-ordinating body, providing a multi-agency and regionally appropriate response to substance misuse in the western region (Galway, Mayo and Roscommon). Its overall aim is to significantly reduce the harm caused to individuals and society by the misuse of drugs and drugs through a concerted focus on supply reduction, prevention, treatment, rehabilitation and research.

Drug & Alcohol Family Support Needs Analysis Report

This report outlines research conducted by the Western Region Drugs Task Force (WRDTF) on a needs analysis for families with members affected by substance use. This needs analysis is one component of the developmental work currently being undertaken by the WRDTF and will underpin the development of its forthcoming Family Support Strategy and accompanying three-year Action Plan.
